Conditions
In order to guarantee the best possible experience, there is a maximum limit of 25 people in each group entering the museum together.
If the booking is made for a larger group, visitors will be divided into smaller groups, with each subgroup entering the main exhibition hall at intervals.
There are no minimum numbers of visitors for bookings.
However, groups of fewer than 10 people will not be able to take advantage of the group discount, neither guided tour,
and will pay set prices.
Bookings
Bookings should be made as far in advance as possible by email at geral@museuceradescobrimentos.com or by post to Urb. Marina de Lagos, Edf. Astrolábio, Lt 24 Lj 3, 8600 - Lagos.
Each booking requires the completion and submission of the Booking Form for Visits and Statement of responsability(pdf).

Supervision of the Group
Supervision of the group is essential. Adults accompanying the group are responsible for the behavior of the students, as well as their safety.
The Wax Museum of the Portuguese Discoveries cannot assume responsibility in the name of those accompanying the group or the school / organisation.
Each group of 25 must be accompanied by at least one person in charge (teacher/assistant/guide/or other) during the time of the visit.
Disclaimer
If the person in charge (teacher/assistant/guide/other) does not accompany the group, the Wax Museum of the Portuguese Discoveries will not be responsible for the safety or the quality of the visit for these groups.
There is no cloakroom available at the museum or any facilities for visitors to leave their belongings. Therefore, whenever possible rucksacks umbrellas or other large items should not be brought into the museum.
The Portuguese Discoveries Wax Museum reserves the right to intervene if the group members do not respect the rules of operation, inclusive may end the visit at any time, if they see fit, with no right to any refund.

On arrival at the museum, the person in charge of the booking should approach the ticket desk where tickets will be issued and the group organised for entry into the museum.
In the event of any school group having more than 25 members, the re-allocation into smaller subgroups will be done prior to entry into the building.
The average duration of a visit to the museum is between 30 and 45 minutes.
